In my Strategic Marketing Management class at ASU, I worked with a team on a project to conduct a comprehensive marketing audit of DoorDash. We were tasked with understanding the external environment affecting DoorDash’s operations. Our goal was to analyze various factors such as demographics, technological advancements, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape. We conducted thorough research to evaluate how these external elements impact DoorDash's services and mission. We focused on aspects like labor laws, sustainability concerns, and shifting consumer preferences, while also examining how DoorDash is addressing these challenges through strategic initiatives, such as technological innovations and expanding service offerings. Our analysis enabled us to make actionable recommendations for DoorDash, suggesting areas where they should focus on adapting to regulatory changes, improving sustainability practices, and leveraging new technologies to stay competitive in the evolving market.
