Honors Thesis Project: College Money Mind
According to a national survey, nearly 59% of college students have considered dropping out due to financial stress, and 80% report that money-related challenges negatively affect their mental health. Motivated by these statistics, our team (a Financial Planning major, a Computer Science major, and I, a Marketing major) came together to create College Money Mind, a website dedicated to improving college students’ financial literacy and confidence.
The name College Money Mind reflects our mission: to help students develop not only financial knowledge but also a mindset that fosters long-term stability and opportunity. The platform provides accessible tools, resources, and guidance to help students make informed financial decisions during and after college life.
